台灣產險業也有理賠家中寵物狗咬人或咬其他狗的責任險保單，泰安產險協理陳樑銓說，這些保單理賠人為闖禍機率較高，例如家中小孩玩耍不慎造成的傷害案，理賠「人被狗咬」的案件很少。
