美國人愛狗，但近年狗咬人或狗咬狗傷害事件頻傳。根據美國保險資訊協會統計，去年美國保險業者理賠人或狗，被狗咬的傷害案件，總金額四點七九億美元、約一四四億元台幣，排全球第一。
